From there, I craft a custom plan that blends beauty with purpose—layering in the plants, textures, and seasonal rhythms that will bring your vision to life. You’ll be supported with clear guidance, intuitive planning, and soulful design that honors both the land and your lifestyle.

If you’re already working with a landscape designer, I’m happy to collaborate—layering in softscape elements, helping select plants and materials, and ensuring the design flows with grace and intention. Every garden begins with a conversation. We’ll hop on the phone or zoom for a free 15 minute consultation—whatever feels easiest for you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your vision, your space, and your lifestyle. From how you hope to use the space to the colors and textures you’re drawn to, this is where the dreaming begins.

If you’re in my service area, I’ll come walk your space with you. I pay close attention to light patterns, soil health, drainage, existing plants, and how the space feels. You’ll see me sketching, note-taking, and tuning in to the story your garden wants to tell. If you’re out of town, we can do this virtually with detailed site photos, videos, and a layout survey form I’ll guide you through.

Back at my studio, I’ll craft a bespoke garden design that reflects both your dreams and your space’s unique character. Depending on your needs, this might include:
• Scaled planting plans
• Concept sketches or moodboards
• Raised bed layouts or edible garden zones
• Notes on spatial flow, seasonal interest, and design intent
Everything is tailored and rooted in real-life growing conditions—so it’s not just pretty, but practical.

I’ll build you a curated list of plants, herbs, flowers, and natural materials chosen for your climate, soil, sun exposure, and design goals. You’ll receive:
• A detailed plant list tailored to your design
• Notes on care, seasonality, and companion planting
• Suggestions for mulch, stone, trellises, containers, or other elements to bring texture and function

If you’re installing with a landscaper, I can act as your garden’s advocate—offering plant sourcing, walkthroughs, and designer-to-contractor communication. Want to DIY or phase it in over time? I’ll help break things down into doable steps and guide you through the process.
